ABOUT US

MicroSLA was founded in California in 2013, initially operating under the name Kudo3D with a mission to advance high-resolution stereolithography technologies. In 2019, the company rebranded as MicroSLA to better reflect its core expertise.

Our first product, the Titan 1, was launched on Kickstarter in May 2014 through a highly successful campaign, establishing a strong foundation for the Titan series. With a resolution of 37 microns, the Titan 1 incorporated a flexible self-peeling mechanism to reduce layer separation forces. The Titan platform continued to evolve, culminating in the Titan 3, which features automatic resolution switching and achieves resolutions down to 25 microns.

In 2019, MicroSLA also began developing the UV DLP-based Micro series printers, designed to deliver even higher resolution and precision for applications in biomedical engineering, energy storage, and microdevice fabrication. The Micro 2 achieves an exceptional resolution of 5 microns, setting a new benchmark for desktop 3D printing. The Micro 3 series doubles the build area using a 2K TI DLP engine to meet increasing industrial demand for higher throughput, while maintaining the high resolution of the Micro platform. Today, the Micro series is widely adopted by leading research laboratories worldwide for advanced microfabrication.

Our high-resolution desktop printers are compact, low-maintenance, and offer faster printing speeds compared to similar technologies. Typical print times range from approximately 10 to 20 seconds per layer, depending on the resin and part geometry.
