ABOUT US

MicroSLA was founded in California in 2013, operating initially under the name Kudo3D with a mission to explore high-resolution stereolithographic technologies. In 2019, the company rebranded as MicroSLA to better reflect its area of expertise. Our first product, the Titan 1, was launched on Kickstarter in May 2014 with a very successful campaign,  providing a strong foundation for the subsequent Titan series of printers. With a resolution of 37 microns, the Titan 1 utilized a flexible self-peeling technology to minimize layer separation force. The Titan series continued to evolve, culminating in the Titan 4, which features automatic resolution switching and a higher resolution of 15 microns.  Titan 4 will be released in the second quarter of 2024.

In 2019, MicroSLA started developing UV DLP Micro series printers capable of delivering even greater resolution and precision, particularly for biomedical, energy storage, and micro-device applications. The Micro 2 printer, which is currently MicroSLA’s flagship product, offers an astonishing resolution of 5 microns, setting a new standard for desktop 3D printers. The Micro series is now widely adopted in top research laboratories worldwide for advanced microfabrication.
